We are looking to recruit a dynamic Head of Sales to lead our Data Center & Hybrid team. You will be responsible for leading, developing, and growing a successful sales team. You will work in a high-performing and rewarding culture and be a key driver of our success.

As part of our journey to become Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, we aim to expand our sales team within Data Center and Hybrid technologies with an exceptional Head of Sales to lead a team of Solutions Sales Specialists. The Data Center & Hybrid business helps customers access and deploy world-class infrastructure to support their applications and data, driving their business forward.

As a Head of Sales, you will lead a team of approximately 8-10 individuals, including Sales Specialists and Presales Solution Leads. You will support them in driving campaigns and opportunities into large organizations and play a crucial role in constructing and closing deals. As a sales leader, you will lead from the front, spending ample time with customers and developing your team into a high-performing sales force.

What you’ll do

  • Drive the Data Center & Hybrid value proposition into enterprise customers at a leadership level
  • Qualify, construct, and close high-complexity technology and professional services deals with major clients
  • Support, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team with diverse skillsets
  • Collaborate with strategic vendor partners to identify new opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at customers
  • Become an internal expert on our core Data Center & Hybrid offerings and promote these within the sales team
  • Support the growth of the Data Center & Hybrid Solution Area and meet its sales targets
  • Assist the Solution Area Director with team strategy
  • Engage with a broad virtual team across Computacenter to help customers access and procure technology solutions

What you’ll need

  • Experience managing an enterprise sales team, including presales or technical staff
  • Relevant experience in the Data Center & Hybrid market, from reseller, service provider, or vendor backgrounds
  • Front-line sales experience in relevant technologies or solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and understanding of complex sales cycles
  • Extensive network within the Data Center & Hybrid partner community
