ABOUT THE ROLE

At the Bamford Collection, we believe thoughtful planning and strong commercial insight are essential to sustainable growth.

We are now looking for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will play a critical role in shaping financial insight across the business, improving reporting and budgeting processes, building robust financial models and partnering closely with senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

This full-time role (40 hours per week) is based at our Daylesford Farm in the Cotswolds and offers a competitive salary within a purpose-driven, market-leading organic brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting & Budgeting
  • Build, refine, and maintain comprehensive reporting packs for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Improve existing budgeting frameworks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and optimise financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and decision-making.
  • Ensure models are scalable and adaptable to changing business needs.
Strategic Business Partnering
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and operational teams to provide insights that drive commercial performance.
  • Support strategic initiatives by delivering clear, actionable financial analysis and recommendations.
Improvement & Development
  • Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A processes and implement best practices.
  • Champion the use of technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Line manage and develop a team of 2 analysts.
SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
  • Proven experience in FP&A within a multi-entity or group structure.
  • Strong technical skills in financial modelling and advanced Excel (knowledge of BI tools is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Commercially astute with a strategic mindset.
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Preferably experience in retail, manufacturing, or multi-entity environments.
