Head Concierge

Location: Discovery Dock West – Discovery Dock Apartments West, 2 South Quay Square, London, E14 9RT

Working Hours: 4 days on, 4 days off, 0700 – 1900

Salary: £32,000 – £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the onsite team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed; providing training, development, guidance and reporting issues.
  • Managing the front desk in a hands‑on role – concierge duties, parcels, keys, resident queries and complaints.
  • Supporting day‑to‑day operations – maintaining high site standards, delivering excellent customer service, implementing SOPs.
  • Managing the onsite team – appraisals, one‑to‑ones, performance management, training, staffing matters.
  • Conducting health and safety inspections, daily audits, plant room checks, reporting; ensuring follow‑through.
  • Overseeing contractors, ensuring Permits to Work and RAMs are completed.
  • Ensuring estate meets Health and Safety Standards and cleanliness.
  • Liaising with residents and contractors on repair/maintenance requests, monitoring work to completion.
  • Undertaking general duties as required by management and in line with industry best practice.

Eligibility requirement: Must be eligible to work in the UK without restrictions, with documented evidence of eligibility.
