Job summary

A community support organisation in Leeds is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to manage grounds maintenance and estate management tasks across properties. The ideal candidate should have some experience in outdoor roles, possess a full UK driving licence, and demonstrate reliability and strong customer service skills. We’re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to support the day‑to‑day delivery of grounds maintenance, estate management, and improvement works across Leeds Federated properties and external contracts.

What you’ll do:
  • Carry out grounds and estate maintenance across communal areas, following set schedules and instructions
  • Complete grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, planting, fencing, and litter picking
  • Use tools, equipment, and machinery safely and report any issues or defects
  • Always follow health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Engage positively with tenants and represent Leeds Federated in a professional manner
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure high standards are maintained
What we’re looking for:
