Qualifications

Who are you?

Applicants must be reliable and conscientious, have a can‑do attitude and willingness to learn with the ability to work on their own initiative. Previous experience of grounds maintenance work, horticultural tasks and use of handheld machinery is desirable but full training will be given.

Applicants who hold a full, clean driving licence and have experience of driving light commercial vehicles are preferable.

A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You

Undertaking grounds maintenance work including;

  • Mowing: Maintaining grassed areas using appropriate mowing equipment.
  • Strimming: Trimming grass and weeds in areas inaccessible to mowers.
  • Blowing: Clearing debris from pathways, drives, and other hard surfaces using a leaf blower.
  • Hedge Trimming: Maintaining hedges at the desired height and shape.
  • Shrub Bed Maintenance: Weeding, pruning, and general upkeep of shrub beds.
  • Hedge Cutting: Trimming and shaping hedges.
  • Litter Collection: Removing litter from grounds and disposing of it properly.
