As part of our 2026 Early Career programme we are looking to hire a Graduate in our Croydon based Water team

About the role

You will be joining a hard working and experienced team specialising predominantly on wastewater or clean water projects, infrastructure, or non-infrastructure. We are looking for people from a Civil Engineering study background as an essential requirement, along with a permanent right to work as we are unable to sponsor for this position.

The team work collaboratively across the UK but this role would require you to be located in our Croydon office 3 times a week. You will have the opportunity to working on many key projects in the Water sector. One of our recent successes was the upgrade of the Arley Sewage Treatment Works to comply with stringent water quality targets under the Water Framework Directive. Right to Work Requirements

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role due to salary thresholds. Applicants must already have the existing, unrestricted right to work in the UK for the full duration of our 2 to 3 year graduate programme. Unfortunately, this means we cannot accept applications where the right to work is time‑limited and would expire before the programme ends (July 2029).

Main duties

• Support implementation of projects to fully meet the client requirements, in accordance with relevant standards of the water sector.
• Work in preparation of designs, drawings and schedules on water projects around the UK.
• Support the preparation of scheme evaluations, design statements, tender documents and any other required deliverables.
• Grow an understanding of all relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety Legislation and current relevant design best practice within the Water Sector.
• Engage, where possible, in client, contractor and third party liaison, including review of third party design proposals.
• Develop a good understanding of BMS procedures.
