Qualifications

Goods In Controller – Stores & Warehouse (UK)

Warehouse / Yard Based| Full-Time

Keep our operations moving – Join Circet UK as a Goods In Controller.

Circet UK is looking for a Goods In Controller to support our busy warehouse and yard operations. You’ll play a key role in making sure deliveries are accurate, stock is controlled and recorded correctly, and materials are ready to go out to our field teams on time.

You’ll be at the centre of our materials flow – from checking deliveries in, through warehouse management, to issuing stock for subcontractor job packs – helping projects run smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Receive deliveries, check for accuracy and quality, and report any discrepancies
  • Book all deliveries onto our Warehouse Management System (WMS – MIS/CBC)
  • Regularly rotate stock so older stock is used first (FIFO)
  • Perform regular stock takes – weekly for high-value items, monthly for all stock
  • Assist with loading outgoing collections and issuing stock for subcontractor job packs
  • Monitor stock levels and trigger re‑orders when buffer levels are reached
  • Maintain a clean, organised warehouse and yard area
  • Carry out standard health & safety checks in the warehouse, including shared forklift checks
  • Follow all company Health & Safety policies and safe systems of work
What You’ll Need
Experience
  • Previous experience in a warehouse / stores / goods in role (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar stock system is an advantage
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when checking and recording stock
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills for dealing with drivers, colleagues and subcontractors
Qualifications & Certifications
  • Basic IT skills with good working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
  • Forklift licence (desirable but can be trained for the right candidate)
