Qualifications

  • Minimum 7–10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, regulatory, or technology law.
  • Proven experience advising on cross-border legal matters.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on company activities.
  • Oversee compliance frameworks, including data protection and AI governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including research collaboration agreements.

Skills

Qualified lawyer (UK, Japan, or EU jurisdiction)
Minimum 7–10 years post-qualification experience in corporate law
Deep understanding of corporate law and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese
