**General Machinist** An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a skilled and qualified **General Machinist** to join our Rotatives Derby Compressor Discs and Drums Facility (DCDD), which is responsible for the manufacture of Compressor Drums for our large Civil engines. Your role as a machine operator will involve working on our various CNC machining platforms producing Discs, Drums and any other commodities we support. You will be responsible for delivering against weekly targets to meet customer requirements. You will also work with cross functional teams to implement and sustain improvement activities within our manufacturing environment.**Responsibilities:** In this role you will work to Rolls-Royce’s Technical Instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high-quality machining across a variety of different components and product families, as well as: **Preferred requirements:** To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria: Siemens control system experience is preferred. Experience in 5-axis milling, turning, drilling, and boring.
