A growing software company in the UK is seeking a Frontend Engineer II to enhance its customer retention tools. As part of the team, you'll build and maintain features for a global network of SaaS sellers, collaborating with designers and backend engineers to deliver excellent user experiences. Ideal candidates will have experience with React, TypeScript, and agile methodologies. The role offers a remote work option, competitive salary, and benefits including unlimited holidays and strong support for learning and development.
Paddle offers SaaS companies a completely different approach to their payments infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payments fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.
We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 3,000 software sellers across 245 territories globally.
As a Frontend Engineer II on the Retain team, you’ll help build the tools that enable software companies to reduce churn and improve customer retention. Our work spans subscription management, dunning and recovery flows, and retention-focused insights that help sellers understand and act on customer behaviour.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver intuitive, reliable user experiences. Much of this work lives within Paddle’s dashboard, which we’re actively rebuilding using Remix, giving you the opportunity to contribute to both new features and our evolving frontend foundations.
At Paddle, we’re committed to removing invisible barriers—both for our customers and within our own teams. We recognise and celebrate that every Paddler is unique and we welcome every individual perspective.
As an inclusive employer, we don’t care if or where you studied, what you look like, or where you’re from. We’re far more interested in your craft, curiosity, passion for learning, and what you’ll bring to our culture. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement, especially if you’re part of an underrepresented group.
Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to better support you through the application process or in the workplace—we’re happy to help with any accommodations needed.
We’re a diverse, growing group of Paddlers across the globe who pride ourselves on a transparent, collaborative, and respectful culture.
We offer a full suite of benefits, including competitive salaries, stock options, retirement plans, private healthcare, and wellbeing initiatives. Paddle is a digital-first company, meaning you can work remotely, from one of our hubs, or a mix of both. We also offer unlimited holidays, 4 months of paid family leave regardless of gender, and a strong investment in learning and development through an annual learning fund and regular training.
