Front of House Receptionist – Corps Security

Welcome to Corps Security. Founded in 1859, we provide employment for ex‑servicemen and have become the UK’s most respected specialist security services provider, grounded in the values of loyalty, integrity and service.

As a Front of House Receptionist you will ensure consistent, professional service delivery, handle incidents with established escalation procedures, support security operations and embody our company culture. You will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12:30–18:30, on a fixed‑term contract until July 2026.

What you will need
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential
  • Confidence and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft software packages (e.g. Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards
What you are going to do
  • Maintain high standards of performance, professionalism and customer service at all times
  • Full compliance with operational instructions and external regulations
  • Report and escalated issues following the Chain of Command
  • Produce clear, logical and well‑written operational reports within required timeframes
  • Be fully conversant with site systems and procedures
  • Build relationships with internal and external guests to enhance the security provision
  • Understand all changes in building occupiers, set‑up and productions and ensure information is passed upwards and downwards
  • Maintain safety and security through the operation of integrated security systems
  • Liaise with supervisors, Corps Security and management regarding building maintenance and H&S issues
  • Coordinate with external authorities, including the police
  • Provide immediate response to minor/major incidents – medical, fire, crisis, etc.
  • Assist with other admin duties as directed by Duty Security Managers, Supervisors or clients
