A leading bottling company in Birmingham seeks a Forklift Operator to manage product movement within the Central Hub. This role involves operating various forklifts, ensuring product safety, and maintaining efficiency in a physically demanding environment. Summary/objective
Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler in Birmingham, AL. The Forklift Operator (Receiving) will be responsible for ensuring accurate receipt and shipment of products and dunnage and moving them to the appropriate locations in a timely and safe manner. The Operator will ensure the efficient flow of products within the Central Hub Distribution Center and cross-train to perform any job functions of other Forklift Operators’ positions.

All tasks within the warehouse are physically demanding and labor-intensive. The role requires:
Required qualifications include: High School/GED preferred; at least 1 year in a warehouse; at least 1 year operating a forklift; RF scanners/WMS experience preferred; ability to read product packaging and communicate in English via radio; forklift certification; basic math and WMS proficiency; ability to learn Tenant Scrubber.
