Fire Systems Installation Engineer – Ansul R102

Global Fire and Security Systems is an independent company established in Nottingham in 1999, now a market leader in delivering quality fire safety, fire suppression and security solutions nationwide. We design, install, commission and maintain systems to help our customers protect their environments.

We are seeking an Installation Engineer (Mechanical) to work field‑based across East/West London and the Midlands.

Job Purpose
  • Undertake the installation of fire suppression systems at a range of customer sites, including schools, pubs, hotels and other premises.
Key Accountabilities
  • Install and service R102 Ansul systems.
  • Conduct remedial work and upgrades on R102 systems.
  • Carry out surveys where required.
  • Own allocated projects, ensuring all works, site activity, audits and paperwork comply with relevant standards, manufacturer guidelines and company requirements.
  • Produce all site reports, including weekly project status updates.
  • Manage and order stock remotely.
  • Coordinate with onsite contractors/management to ensure proper execution of work methods.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Adhere to health & safety and company policies.
About You
  • Demonstrable experience installing Ansul R102 systems.
  • Previous experience in a customer‑focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable with day and night work as required.
  • Occasional stop‑overs when necessary.
  • Willing to work variable hours to suit client needs.
  • Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weights up to 25 kg.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
