Location: SE1 2AF

Salary: £42,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Restaurant is open from 08:00 – 20:00 but rota can range from 07:00 – 22:00, flexibility required.

Customer and Client Satisfaction
  • Create, innovate, organise & control the efficient and effective running of the service whilst inspiring team members.
  • Proactively engage бро клиентов, ensuring the offer suits their needs and maximises revenue and profitability.
  • Inspire a team to meet the EY spirit and offer unique experiences to every customer.
  • Oversee the standard and quality of all food & drink; serve as the final quality check for everything delivered to customers.
  • Organise and control all aspects of the fine dining Restaurant and private dining operation with strategic planning for growth.
  • Ensure all companyडी and statutory regulations pertaining to health & safety, hygiene & fire are always adhered to.
  • Ensure food leaving the kitchen is of the highest quality, utilising current trends in cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Build relationships with local Vacherin team members and key EY clients, selling new initiatives to continually innovate.
  • Manage cellar and drinks list, including creation and regular updates.
  • Establish the restaurant as a destination with House Specials that set it apart from competitors.
  • Implement creative ways to increase average spend per head, drive footfall, and build a foundation of regulars.
Infrequent Duties
  • Deputize in the absence of Restaurant manager or Hospitality Manager or other Food Services managers.
  • Assist at special duties or functions outside normal working hours.
  • Attend courses, training sessions, competitions, trade shows, and competitor reviews as required.
  • Relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other establishments as required.

  • Recruit, develop, and train a highly motivated team who put customers first.
  • Ensure team members understand their purpose and standards of operation.
  • Deliver and arrange regular training sessions, focusing on service, memorable moments, selling, and upskilling.
  • Promote ISS as the employer of choice through proactive recruitment and league progression.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files, including working hours, payroll, training, and development records.
  • Communicate regularly with the Restaurant team, including monthly safety briefings and pre‑service briefings.
  • Ensure the team has the right tools for the job, accurate SOPસ્ટ, and regularly review their kit.
  • Show recognition and appreciation through reward schemes.
  • Assess training needs and provide cross‑training opportunities.
  • Champion staff surveys and improved ways of working.
  • Collaborate with other business areas to support and talent share.
  • Promote health and wellbeing of staff, supportive working conditions, and an “open door” policy.
  • Champion company wellbeing, CSR, and engagement initiatives.
  • Create and deliver succession planning.
  • Competently and fairly carry out HR processes.
Financial
  • Own the financial performance Wonderland of your area, ensuring company processes and controls are followed.
  • Identify sales growth and cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Control and manage budgets, including preparation, reporting, and forecasting.
  • .ParentItem>Work with finance department on invoicing and reporting systems.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and financial control procedures.
  • Ensure approved suppliers are used at all times.
Health & Safety
  • Lead the team to ensure allometers company and statutory regulations members to “h health and food safety are adhered to.
  • Ensure timely reporting of all risks and support corrective action plans from site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with core competencies around operational and service excellence.
  • Over 5 years’ management/Assistant Management experience in high‑end restaurants.
  • Awareness of the London food scene and current industry trends.
  • Delivery of a la carte service, private receptions, wine falls, afternoon tea, private dining rooms.
  • IT literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Innovative qualities and capable of taking an active lead role within a dynamic team.
  • Able to identify and resolve issues to meet and exceed client expectations.
Desirable
  • Experience with financial administration and governance procedures.
  • Experience in cellar management and drinks list creation.
  • Experience in succession mout planning and talent development.
