Job description

Our client is a reputable, independent creative brand studio in London, looking for an energetic, commercially minded Finance Manager who loves being close to the work-not tucked away in the back office.

Finance sits at the heart of how this studio prices, plans and delivers projects. You’ll partner closely with Account Management and Client Services, shaping project performance, guiding commercial decisions and helping keep the studio running sharp and commercially sound.

You’ll manage day-to-day finance operations while working with the Finance Director on bigger-picture planning and reporting. If you’re confident with Xero + Excel, enjoy bringing clarity and pace, and love the buzz of a creative environment, you’ll fit right in.

*This role are in studio Mon-Thurs each week*

What you’ll do
  • Partner with the Finance Director on planning, modelling and ad hoc commercial projects
  • Own project financials: forecasting revenue, tracking margins, spotting risks early
  • Be the main finance contact for AMs, suppliers and client finance teams
  • Produce management accounts, cashflows, VAT returns and regular reporting
  • Manage payroll, freelancer/supplier payments and core finance processes
  • Drive clarity and financial discipline across teams and project workflows
What you’re great at
  • Xero, Excel/Sheets and turning numbers into actionable insights
  • Staying organised, calm and solutions-focused
  • Communicating clearly and partnering confidently at all levels
  • Commercial thinking + sound judgement
  • Understanding how cash, time, people and projects come together
  • Experience in project-based creative/production environments (QBE, qualified or part-qualified all welcome)
Why this studio?

You’ll have real influence, meaningful ownership and a seat at the commercial table-helping shape how the studio grows. If you enjoy partnering with teams, thrive in creative environments and want a role where you make a visible impact, we’d love to hear from you.
