The Opportunity: Finance Business Partner

Contract: Permanent

Location: Cannock

The Impact you will have:

  • Provide financial insight into E&W Engineering Services performance, identify trends and challenge costs
  • Review and analyse P&L, balance sheet and KPIs to improve financial and operational outcomes
  • Act as a link between core finance and business units
  • Develop automated reporting and analysis tools (e.g. PowerBI)
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead/support ad-hoc key business projects
  • Support E&W Business Partnering Manager and Senior Business Partner
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure financial understanding
  • Deliver commercial insight to challenge and improve business performance
  • Identify opportunities and risks to enhance financial results
  • Provide financial support for strategic projects
  • Improve and automate reporting processesSupport annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Drive continuous improvement in pricing, planning, and reporting
  • Participate in monthly review meetings
  • Provide additional commercial support as needed

What help you to excel in this role:

  • Accounting qualification such as CIMA/ACCA or QBE (minimum 3 years)
  • Extensive experience working in finance department(s)
  • Be able to discuss financial accounts with non-financial personnel
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Financial Modelling
  • Experience working with tools assisting business analytics (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SQL)
  • Presentation skills to all levels of organization
