Salary: £30,000.00 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (30 minute lunch break)

As aFinance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in our Accounts team, supporting daily financial operations and ensuring accuracy across our ledgers.

Finance Assistant responsibilities:
  • Banking & Reconciliation:Handling daily bank reconciliations, processing card payments, and managing daily banking tasks.
  • Sales Ledger & Credit Control:Monitoring outstanding debts, following up on queries with customers and internal teams, and preparing month-end statements.
  • Purchase Ledger:Processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing payment runs.
  • Financial Administration:Handling petty cash, processing driver expense claims, and assisting with small claims procedures when needed.
  • Team Support:Covering various finance tasks during team holidays to keep everything running smoothly.
What's required from you?
  • Previous experience in a finance role within themotor industry.
  • Strong numerical and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Confident communicator – both over the phone and in person.
  • IT-literate, with experience using finance systems and spreadsheets.
