A leading engineering and construction company in Dartford seeks a Strategic Programmes Finance Analyst/Manager. The candidate will establish key financial processes to support a new Strategic Programmes hub in the UK. Responsibilities include reporting, financial analysis, and business partnering with senior leadership. Location: Dartford with occasional travel particularly within UK
Reporting to: Finance Director – Corporate
The business is entering an exciting phase with the set up of a new Strategic Programme hub within the business split across Australia and UK
A flexible approach and the ability to embrace change within a dynamic and challenging work environment are crucial. The primary responsibilities for this role include establishing key relationships within finance and non-finance personnel across the business to set up all required financial process, accounting treatment, controls and reporting to support the new Strategic Programmes hub in the UK and enable Group consolidation of Strategic Programmes.
This role will be required to business partner with the Strategic Programme Senior Leadership team and ensure alignment with Australia Strategic Programmes hub
The role comprises of the following key responsibilities:
To continually challenge and bring new thinking and innovation into the business through process, structure and systems.
Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, prioritise deadlines and proactively seek to continuously improve processes and approach.
Strong attention to detail
Have a clear understanding of the importance of a strong control environment & a desire to work with, and aptitude for, financial IT systems.
