Job description

CEA is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician as well as a Workshop Leading Hand to join our team based in Wingfield.

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a range of equipment, both in our workshop and on‑site at customer locations.

As a Leading Hand, you will play a hands‑on role in both the servicing, repair and maintainence of equipment, while also guiding and supporting a team of service technicians to ensure high-quality outcomes and efficient work.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault‑finding on a variety of machines
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and major repairs both in the field and in our workshop
  • Ensure all service work is completed safely, accurately, and on time
  • Service equipment covered under warranty following manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete all relevant documentation
  • Adhere to company and industry OH&S standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
  • A trade‑qualified technician (Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or similar)
  • Proven experience working with earthmoving or construction equipment
  • Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilitiesSelf‑motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • A commitment to safety and following company procedures
  • Reliable, honest, and safety‑focused team player
  • Current and valid driver’s licence
