Job summary

A leading healthcare technology provider is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high-quality repair and maintenance services in customers' homes across Norfolk and Suffolk. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 Electrical/Electronic qualification and strong interpersonal skills, particularly in working with vulnerable and elderly clients. Responsibilities include testing fire systems and maintaining various electronic products. This role comes with a company vehicle, fuel card, and out-of-hours opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Field Engineer, demonstrating various electrical and electronic skills.
  • Desirable experience in a field-based role.
  • Comfort with equipment maintenance/testing in home environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide repair and maintenance service for emergency lights and fire systems.
  • Ensure exceptional customer relations with vulnerable and elderly clients.

Skills

Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
Full Category B UK driving license (for manual vehicles)
Experience of testing Fire Systems

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team and help us to provide the highest quality repair and maintenance service to a select range of company and third-party products in an efficient and professional manner. This role is remote and will cover Norfolk or Suffolk.

What will you be doing in this role?

As a Field Service Engineer at Tunstall, you will need to demonstrate exceptional customer relation and interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with a variety of customers from vulnerable to elderly and working on equipment in their homes.

The Ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience as a Field Engineer, using your electrical and electronic experience to help maintain/test a variety of products such as: Emergency Lights, Fire Systems and a variety of our electrical/electronic products. Any experience of working within a field-based role would be desirable, but not essential.
