As a Field Service Engineer, you will embark on a dynamic journey in the world of material handling, where no two days are the same. You’ll work across our extensive lineup of products—from agile pallet trucks to robust counterbalance machines, and cutting-edge very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks to innovative automated solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensuring peak equipment efficiency.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and essential check-ups to keep the fleet running smoothly.
  • Travel to various customer locations to service equipment, build strong relationships, and deliver exceptional support.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer, with forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or vehicle technician roles preferred.
  • Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is desirable.
  • Ideally NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), though not essential.
  • Comfort with IT to keep accurate records and place orders.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

  • 40-hour or 45-hour working week options – Monday to Friday; shift premium and OT available.
