A charitable organization in the arts is seeking a Family Learning Creative Learning Coordinator to develop and deliver creative learning programmes that enhance children's communication skills and confidence. The role involves engaging parents/carers and educators, adopting a child-centred approach, and working towards a collaborative community effort. Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week.
Working closely with the Head of Learning & Impact and Creative Learning Manager, the coordinator will develop and deliver creative learning programmes spanning multiple artforms such as writing, reading, craft, visual art, drama, storytelling, etc. These programmes combine creativity and literacy to support children’s communication skills, confidence and enthusiasm to learn. Coordinators will adopt the Grimm & Co pedagogy, using a child‑centred approach to build socio‑cultural literacies and help children and young people make sense of the world and find their place. The creative learning provision will also build capacity among parents/carers, educators and others, working towards a whole family and community approach.
