Job description

£100 expenses weekly | Senior Role | Workload Manageable | No Micro‑management | Hybrid Working

We’re currently working with a highly regarded local authority in the North Wiltshire area, looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Family Safeguarding Service as a Senior Social Worker.

Leaders in Care are offering £42 per hour, plus £100 per week in expenses for those commuting from outside the area.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and well‑managed Safeguarding Service, led by approachable senior managers and a hands‑on director who is actively involved day to day. They’re looking for experienced practitioners who share their commitment to providing the best support possible for children and families.

Benefits
  • Free parking & £100 weekly expenses for out‑of‑area travel
  • Supportive, long‑standing management team – no micro‑management
  • Hybrid working: 2–3 days per week in the office
  • Friendly, close‑knit team that will make you feel welcome from day one
  • Full induction and training for agency staff – you’ll be supported from the start
  • Stable and flexible contract length

Now’s a great time to make a move, start 2026 on a high, and join a team of like‑minded professionals who truly care about the work they do.

Our approach at Leaders in Care is different from most agencies – we can give you real insight into the council’s structure, performance, and team culture based on regular feedback from our workers, so you’ll have a clear picture before you start.

As this is a statutory role, you must hold a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
