Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of Emergency Room experience strongly preferred.
• Must have a current RN license and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency room.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures including infection control.

Skills

Current RN license in the state of practice

BLS and ACLS certification

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of electronic health records systems

Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
