A community health organization in Australia is seeking an Executive Support Officer to provide critical administrative support to the Executive Officer and other leaders. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in executive assistance, strong written communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information sensitively. The Executive Support Officer is responsible for supporting the Executive Officer in providing professional secretarial and administrative services and support to the CEO, Board of Directors and Executive Management Team. This position provides key operational support and coordination in areas such as administration, secretariat support, organisational functions and events, and holistic business support.
Ideally, in addition to the above, we are looking for someone who identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is acknowledged as such by their community.
The position involves working within a multicultural organisation where the majority of employees, clients and stakeholders identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communicate sensitively and effectively with them.
