Responsibilities

1. Leads the overall management, implementation, and execution of marketing events, both virtual and in-person.

Leads all external-facing event planning, development, and execution for MSA marketing in EMEA region using industry best practices, efficient processes, and innovative solutions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and maintains the annual event plan by collaborating with Marketing Team stakeholders. Includes virtual events, webinars, trade shows, and associated projects.
  • Leads overall event experience development to meet established goals
  • Responsible for all project management, implementation, and execution of events through the development of timelines, budgets, and agendas.
  • For in-person events and trade shows:
    • Collaborates with Marketing Team stakeholders to determine event requirements and goals.
    • Leads booth creation and event experience development to meet established goals, working closely with Marketing Team stakeholders and product specialists on product displays.
    • Oversees all corporate event and booth properties and products, including managing shipping, set-up, and tear-down for individual events.
    • Manages hotel accommodations, apparel orders, and event admittance for MSA employees.
  • For virtual events and virtual trade shows, and webinars:
    • Collaborates with Marketing Team stakeholders to determine event requirements and goals.
    • Leads event experience development to meet established goals, working closely with Marketing Team stakeholders and product specialists on product content and presentations.
    • Identifies appropriate virtual event platform or vendor partners.
    • Handles virtual event and webinar logistics by managing the live platform or partnering with vendors to run event logistics.
  • Manages processes for data management and collection as tied to events, including lead retrieval and management in accordance with GDPR.
  • Develops pre-event training agendas for event workers, working cross-functionally to create training content.
  • Manages all event budgets. Responsible for on-budget completion as well as reallocation planning if needed.
  • Partners with MarCom analyst to execute event reporting, initiate improvements as needed to meet established metrics and goals.

2. Oversee and manage MSA’s Corporate Gear Store and vendor relationship for promotional items and event and trade show signage as needed by all departments.

  • Oversee the MSA Branded Merchandise Store, which is used by all MSA departments and MSA Channel Partners for promotional items, employee apparel and event and trade show signage.
  • Manages overall relationship with vendor partner, including contracts and negotiations.
  • Responsible for product selection and project manages creative execution of promotional items, employee apparel and event and trade show signage.
  • Oversees merchandising of gear website.
  • For large or custom apparel or promotional item orders, works with vendor partner on behalf of all MSA departments on proposals, product selections, design, and delivery.
Qualifications

Experience required:

  • 6+ plus years of experience in marketing events.
  • Demonstration of strong project management and organizational skills across virtual events, business administration and/or trade shows, or event management experience across Europe.

Experience preferred:

  • Supervisory or management experience.

Education required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or equivalent.
