Job summary

An independent co-educational school is seeking a dedicated evening caretaker and security officer to maintain a safe environment and support overall upkeep. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of pupils and staff, managing site security after hours, addressing fire emergencies, and performing various maintenance tasks. Qualifications

• Any H&S related courses are desirable.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance practices, decorating, plumbing, carpentry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of pupils and staff after school hours.
• Take responsibility for site security from 4:00 PM.
• Address fire emergencies outside school hours.
• Empty recycling bins and litter bins daily.
• Manage refuse disposal from the kitchen area.
• Restock washrooms with consumables daily.
• Assist with event setup and general porterage duties.
• Support grounds staff with leaf clearing.
• Assist Estates Bursar with remedial maintenance during holidays.
