Maintenance Support Administrator – Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (07:00-19:00)

An opportunity has arisen for a diligent and highly organised Maintenance Support Administrator to join the Engineering Department of an established aviation maintenance provider. In this role, you will be central to the accurate processing of maintenance work packs within the maintenance management system, ensuring all records and documentation comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. You will also play an important part in supporting payroll by checking and submitting attendance data in a timely and accurate manner.

Key responsibilities
  • Open, update and close Line and AOG work packs, confirming bill of materials and man‑hour requirements.
  • Maintain and update aircraft logbooks and records for contracted aircraft.
  • Oversee the receipt, verification and secure archiving of aircraft maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure maintenance work packs contain all necessary supporting documentation (such as release certificates).
  • Prepare and issue logbook inserts following Line and AOG maintenance activities.
  • Monitor AOG inboxes and liaise with engineers regarding urgent matters, including out‑of‑hours where necessary.
  • Produce and manage work order authorities and customer onboarding/verification forms, maintaining clear communication with customers.
  • Provide administrative support across engineering activities, including absence records, expense processing, premiums and timesheet input.
  • Assist with capacity planning and allocation of manpower to ensure labour coverage meets regulatory and operational needs.
  • Carry out ongoing quality reviews of maintenance work packs prior to release to the customer.
  • Assist with the coordination and monitoring of internal training requirements.
Authorities
  • Add or remove tasks from work packages in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Amend planning and labour details within the maintenance management system as needed.

  • Confident user of IT systems with accurate keyboard skills.
  • Consistent high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including under pressure.
  • Experience within an aviation or technical environment is highly advantageous.
