A leading domestic abuse charity in Sheffield is searching for a Domestic Abuse Refuge Practitioner to support women and families in recovery from trauma. The role involves a public-facing component and community engagement, with a focus on empowering women living in dispersed accommodation. Qualifications

• Experience of working with/supporting women who have lived with trauma.
• A full driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
• Excellent record-keeping skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Support women and families in recovery from trauma and abuse.
• Work in the community and travel to meet families in dispersed accommodation.
• Participate in safeguarding procedures.
