A local council is seeking skilled Electricians dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring the safety of homes. This role involves maintaining electrical safety standards and managing workloads efficiently while fostering strong relationships within the Housing team. In our mission to maintain and enhance the living standards of our community, the Housing Standards team plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining all Council homes.
The working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (8:30 am to 4:00 pm Fridays) with participation in a standby and callout rota throughout all areas, Richmond, Selby and Harrogate this normally is 1 week in 7.
Are you a dedicated electrician with the drive to provide exceptional service? In this role, you will:
Level 2 – Electrician - £34,434 - £37,035
The post holder is required to have joined and successfully completed the following:
Level 3 – Mentor Level - £37,035 - £41,511
To reach this level the post holder is required to have successfully completed internal Customer Service, IT and HR related courses, Housing Health, and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) Training, IOSH Managing Safely & ILM 4.
You will also need to be registered as the Qualified Supervisor with the NICEIC.
A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
Additional experience in social housing and responsive repairs would be a fantastic advantage!
