Job summary

A leading training provider is looking for an experienced Electrical Trainer to deliver high-quality education in electrical installations. This role involves teaching both theoretical and practical aspects, engaging with learners, and maintaining academic records. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 electrical qualification and teaching experience. This position offers a full-time contract, competitive salary up to £43,500, and excellent benefits including annual leave and pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Must demonstrate teaching experience of an Electrical Installations syllabus.
  • Able to provide evidence of being up to date with the electrical industry.
  • Verifiable post qualification electrical experience within an electrical services organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning for City & Guilds and EAL courses.
  • Engage and support learners in developing resources to improve outcomes.
  • Assess and approve apprentices' course work as required by awarding bodies.

Education

Electrical level 3 technical qualification
GCSE/O Level Maths and English A-C, 9 – 4
Teaching qualification at Level 5 or willingness to work towards

Tools

Recognised Health & Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely)
Assessor qualifications (D32, D33, A1 or TAQA)
Internal Verifier qualifications (D34, V1 or TAQA)
