Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading Defence & Maritime project team. You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of electrical system and wiring loom design, supporting major naval and marine platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems, wiring looms, and harness assemblies.
  • Create and maintain electrical enclosures, cabinets, and consoles.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on‑site to support integration and installation activities.
  • Use Zuken E3 (mandatory) and Windchill for design and documentation tasks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical design, loom, or harness engineering.
  • Proven background within Defence, Maritime, or Naval projects.
  • Strong understanding of Zuken E3 (no training provided).
  • Familiarity with Windchill software.
  • Comfortable working on‑site at shipyards and adapting to project needs.
  • Must hold or be eligible for BPSS clearance.
  • Applicants must be nationals from the UK, EU, NATO countries, or Japan.
