A local charity organization in Stroud is seeking a House Lead to manage the men's residential services. You will lead a team to provide trauma-informed support, oversee daily operations, and assist clients in their recovery journeys. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a residential addiction setting is essential.
  • Candidates should possess strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 is preferred.

House Lead – Residential Services (Men’s Program Manager)

Location: Brimscombe, Stroud
Salary: £26,000–£30,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hoursper week

Join The Nelson Trust and help shape ourmen’s trauma‑informed residential service. We’re looking for an energetic, compassionate leader to oversee day‑to‑day operations, support clients in recovery, and lead a small team making a real impact.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead, support and develop a team
  • Oversee daily operations, rotas and service delivery in our men's residential treatment service
  • Hold a small caseload and support clients’ recovery journeys
  • Ensure a safe, trauma‑responsive, CQC‑compliant environment
  • Drive service improvement and innovation
What we are looking for:
  • Experience in a residential addiction setting
  • Experience supervising or developing staff
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding & trauma‑informed practice
  • Excellent communication & IT skills
  • NVQ Level 3 (or willingness to work towards)
  • Full driving licence & access to a vehicle
