Job summary

A public utility provider in Belfast is seeking a Finance Assistant to handle invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and general support for the finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance functions, be confident in producing management accounts, and possess relevant financial qualifications. Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in processing invoices.
  • Experience with bank reconciliations.
  • Confidence in producing management accounts up to trial balance.

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase invoices and maintain records.
  • Help with bank reconciliations by matching payments and receipts.
  • Raise and send customer invoices as needed.
  • Check and update supplier and customer information.
  • Use finance systems to input data and run reports.
  • Support finance team with general admin and filing.
  • Answer finance-related queries from suppliers or colleagues.
