Role and Responsibilities

About the role: We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable technician to support the Science Department at Moulsham High School.

• Provide equipment, resources and chemicals to support classroom practical lessons.
• Set up apparatus as required for lessons and experiments.
• Prepare, store and dispose of chemicals safely in a laboratory environment.
• Assist across the science department with a range of duties, and respond to requests as needed.

Requirements and Safeguarding

• Knowledge of Health and Safety in a laboratory setting.
• DBS status: This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Not suitable for anyone barred from working with children.
