An international educational institution in Cambridge is looking for a proactive individual to assist the IT Manager in maintaining a stable IT environment. This role involves ensuring the functionality of the school's network, computers, and devices while promoting modern educational technologies, including AI tools. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, expertise in managing high-density Wi-Fi, and fluency in English for technical support. We are seeking a proactive individual to assist the IT Manager inmaintaining a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment across ourinternational school campus. This role is vital in ensuring that our network,computers, devices, and educational technology tools remain fully operational tosupport teaching, learning, and administrative functions. In today's rapidlyevolving educational landscape, the successful candidate will also bringknowledge of AI tools for education and the ability to train and supportteachers in effectively using them to enhance classroom practices.
Main Purpose of the Role To support the IT Manager in ensuring the schoolnetwork, all computers, devices, and related IT infrastructure remainfunctional, reliable, and secure, while promoting the integration of moderneducational technologies—including AI-powered tools—to enhance teaching andlearning in our Cambridge-curriculum international school.
Academic Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Infrastructure & Security: Managing high-density Wi-Fi networks and implementing Firewalls for student cybersecurity and web filtering.
EdTech & Platforms: Administering /Office 365 and Student Information Systems (SIS)
Support & Language: English fluency for technical support to international faculty and maintenance of PC iPad devices
IT Management: Managing hardware assets, scheduling system updates, and conducting technical training for staff.
