A leading foster care service provider in Birmingham is seeking an Educational Psychologist to support foster carers and assess children. Capstone Foster Care have developed a Multi-disciplinary Assessment, Treatment and Therapy Service (MATTS) which provides assessment, consultation and treatment to children and young people looked after in their fostering services.
We are currently looking for an Educational Psychologist with some capacity in their existing client portfolios. Team members are self employed and are commissioned to undertake specific pieces of assessment and intervention.
Work is likely to include undertaking clinical support to the foster carers and to the professional network, as well as undertaking specialist assessment of the child or young person and offering direct intervention.
