Roke is seeking a Junior PCB CAD Engineer to join an engineering team working on designing and developing PCBs to be part of cutting‑edge solutions that in many cases will find their way into applications in both the Defence and National Security domains.
You will be responsible for PCB design. This will include supporting electronic engineers with Schematic Capture, creating library parts where required, doing detailed layout work, including routing of RF and high‑speed digital signals on multi‑layer PCBs. Roke uses Altium PCB CAD software.
As a junior role, training opportunities will be provided, as well as guidance from a senior PCB CAD engineer.
The role requires an individual who can work independently and be able to request support as required, who can work closely with an agile software team, applying their technical knowledge and domain experience, whilst communicating effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
