Job summary

A leading health and safety consultancy is seeking a Regional Health and Safety Advisor to drive safety and compliance within the workplace. This role involves operational and strategic support to managers, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting a positive safety culture. The ideal candidate will possess H&S qualifications and the ability to provide authoritative advice across all levels. Qualifications

  • Currently hold or be working towards GRAD IOSH level.
  • Hold an industry recognised H&S qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and support managers in the investigation of accidents and incidents.
  • Report all safety-related incidents and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Compile statistics and infer trends from available safety data.
  • Provide guidance and advice at all levels of the business.
  • Support managers to implement policies and procedures regarding health and safety.
  • Design and implement strategies for ensuring H&S regulations are followed.
  • Review and develop H&S policy and frameworks for processes.
  • Assist in formulating improvement plans for H&S.
  • Audit and review H&S management standards and systems.
  • Monitor the changing business risk profile and highlight emerging risks.
  • Ensure best practices are achieved in conjunction with legal compliance.
  • Advise and assist in promoting a positive H&S culture.
