Job summary

A family-run car retailer group in Carlisle is looking for a Parts Advisor to join their team. You will be responsible for serving stock to customers, managing inventory, and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards. The ideal candidate has experience in the parts department and is self-motivated with strong IT skills. Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join the Parts department at our Lloyd Skoda based in Carlisle.

Due to the nature of this role we require candidates with experience in the Parts Department.

Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 – 17:30pm

Role responsibilities

• To serve and issue stock to both internal & external customers ensuring the parts department standards are met.
• To receive, correctly identify and warehouse incoming stock and to advise management if stock is low.
• Ensuring best practice housekeeping standards are kept for both stores and retail section of the Parts Department.
• Ensuring promotions and practices produced by Parts Management are promoted when speaking to customers.
• To participate in the annual formal stock check.

The ideal Parts Advisor will have the following skills and experiences

• Experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry
• Self-motivated
• IT Literate
• Good head for numbers / remembering codes
• Building trade business
• Dealing with online eBay sales
• EVHC processes
