Overview

BDO Regulatory Solutions are currently recruiting for a Director to join our client, an Insurance firm, based in London. We are offering an initial 3 – 4 month contract starting in March with an excellent day rate, employed via an Umbrella company.

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced senior Compliance leader to step in on an interim basis and take full ownership of UK Compliance operations. This role will stabilise, lead, and oversee multiple business units while the organisation completes its permanent hiring process.

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Compliance professional within the insurance sector, confident operating at Director level, and capable of navigating a complex, international stakeholder landscape.
• This is a hands on, senior operational leadership role designed for someone who can quickly establish control, drive clarity, and maintain a high standard of regulatory compliance across the UK business.
• Provide overall leadership and direction for the UK Compliance function, ensuring operational continuity and stability during the interim period.
• Manage day to day Compliance operations, spanning multiple business units, ensuring alignment with UK regulatory expectations and internal frameworks.
• Act as the senior Compliance representative for UK operations, liaising with Executive Leaders and other senior stakeholders as required.
