What You’ll Do

As a key part of the Portering team, you’ll help deliver an integrated FM service across all University of Greenwich sites. Your day may include:

  • Moving equipment, resources, materials, and supplies safely and efficiently
  • Supporting the collection, movement, and delivery of mail across campus
  • Assisting with deliveries of stock and equipment
  • Setting up rooms, furniture and equipment for classes, meetings, and events
  • Helping to prepare spaces and resources for University events and activities
  • Keeping internal and external areas tidy, safe, and welcoming
  • Supporting waste collection and removal
  • Providing friendly, professional customer service at all times
  • Taking ownership of tasks, understanding client needs, and championing Sodexo values
  • Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, high-performing team
  • Following all Health & Safety and COSHH processes
  • Completing any reasonable ad hoc duties as required

What You Bring
  • Customer-focused, friendly, and able to build strong working relationships

  • Experienced with commercial vehicles, including Lut on vans
