Teachers of the Midlothian Digital Campus provide a high‑quality student experience by planning and delivering an Advanced Higher course. Courses on offer include:
Teaching is delivered synchronously online, complemented by independent study resources. Teachers receive professional learning in digital tools to support pedagogy. The Depute Head Teacher of the Digital Campus supports teachers in all matters related to course delivery.

Registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS) is essential for permanent posts. For information on registration visit www.gtcs.org.uk.
Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 applies. Membership in the PVG Scheme is required. Fees are £59 for full membership or £18 for a record update, paid through salary deduction. Outstanding balances are deducted from final salary if employment ends early.
Disclosure Scotland has updated PVG certificate issuance. Certificates are emailed, available for 14 days, and must be shared with Midlothian Council before loss of access. Failure to provide this may result in offer withdrawal. Criminal convictions are disclosed under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Disclosure of unspent convictions is mandatory to avoid withdrawal of appointment.
