An established industry player is seeking a passionate Female Senior Support Worker to provide 24-hour support in a nurturing environment. We are excited to offer a role for a female senior support worker in a 24-hour supported accommodation. This role involves supporting adult females (18+) with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses, resulting in care and support needs. The service provides 24-hour support, including sleep-in shifts as part of the rota, along with a dedicated waking night team.
We seek an enthusiastic, inclusive, organized, and caring individual with leadership qualities to support women in achieving greater independence. The focus is on working closely with women to facilitate move-on using trauma-informed care, recovery, and person-centered practices. You will ensure a high standard of quality of life for the residents, working collaboratively with the women and partner agencies involved in their support and care planning.

Creative Support has proudly provided this service in Withington for over 25 years. In 2016, the service transitioned from residential to supported accommodation to meet the evolving needs of women leaving hospital settings.
Over time, the service model has evolved to better support individuals with mental health challenges, emphasizing bespoke support planning and key worker relationships. The primary goal is to support women’s recovery journeys and facilitate pathways toward greater independence.
The role involves practical assistance with daily living, supporting access to activities promoting personal wellbeing, managing rotas and staffing needs, and maintaining excellent communication with line management and senior colleagues.
You will work flexible shifts on a rolling rota tailored to individual needs. Supervisory experience and relevant qualifications are desirable.
