A prominent utility provider is seeking a Reporting and Data Accountant based in Crawley. This role involves analyzing revenue data, preparing financial information for audits, and automating reporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a numerate discipline and a professional qualification in accounting. Competitive salary of £58,000 with additional benefits and a blend of office and remote work is offered. Closing date for applications is 22/02/2026.
This Reporting and Data Accountant will report to the Income Accounting Manager and will work within the Finance directorate based in our Crawley office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £58,000.00 and a bonus of 7.5%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote

Job Purpose:
You will be an accountant with data analytics knowledge. You will undertake detailed financial and commercial analysis of business unit, partnering with the finance team and wider Income Management team, on all aspects of the income report and providing commentary/insight. You will also look to modernise processes through automation.
Dimensions:
The Income Accounting team consists of four people The team is responsible for forecasting, accounting for and analysing DUoS sales over £1,800m.
