Job summary

A leading manufacturer of Medical products is seeking an experienced Formulation Chemist to join their team in Bishop Auckland. The role involves developing new formulations and ensuring efficacy, with a salary range of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. Candidates must hold a degree in Chemistry or equivalent and have at least 2 years of industry experience in formulating chemicals. This full-time position offers standard hours between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience is essential.
• At least 2 years' industry experience in formulating relevant chemicals is essential.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored formulations by working with customers.
• Conduct wet chemistry testing of incoming materials and finished products.
• Ensure formulations developed are commercially beneficial.
