Overview

Clinical and Research Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics – an employment collaboration between University College London Hospitals and The Princess Grace Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK.

Responsibilities

• Clinical and operative work at registrar level in lower limb arthroplasty and sports surgery.
• Participation in trauma lists.
• Learning basics of robotic lower limb arthroplasty.
• Conducting high‑quality research with an expectation of peer‑reviewed publications and presentations at national/international meetings.
• Playing an integral role in service delivery with a dedicated team of research fellows.
• Opportunity to pursue a higher degree if desired.

Qualifications

• Post‑MRCS trainees with previous NHS experience.
• Desire to secure a place on the national training programme; may also serve as specialist training (FRCS(Orth)).
• Strong academic and research drive.
