We enable new opportunities for our customers through digitalisation.# **Plant Supervisor – Concrete (Rochester)****Competitive Salary**## **Purpose of the Role**To work closely with the team to produce concrete safely and efficiently within a clean, well‑maintained environment, while ensuring the highest possible levels of customer service.You will also operate the batching plant and FEL to company standards, contributing to a smooth, reliable, and professional operation while continually improving site presentation in line with company guidelines.## **Key Accountabilities**### **Operational & Production*** Liaise with the Order Office, plant staff, and customers to ensure concrete/mortar production meets customer requirements, achieving optimum output, quality, and standards in line with the Procedures Manual, Working Instructions, and Technical Instructions.* Accurately batch concrete/mortar in accordance with relevant procedures (when trained).* Ensure sufficient approved materials are available to meet production demands.* Visually check stock levels daily and complete weekly stock checks; verify monthly with the Plant Supervisor.* Operate the batching plant and FEL to company standards, maintaining and improving site presentation in line with guidelines.### ### **Maintenance & Housekeeping*** Inspect and carry out routine plant maintenance, ensuring all equipment, buildings, plant mechanisms, and surrounding areas are clean and well maintained.* Ensure waste disposal, water discharge, and dust emissions comply with Environmental Procedures.* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the entire site and facilities at all times.### ### **Compliance & Administration*** Ensure operations are performed in line with Group and Regional Administrative Instructions to prevent any fraudulent activity.* Adhere to all aspects of the Restrictive Trade Practices Act and related communications.* Comply with all company Personnel Policies and Procedures.* Keep knowledge and skills up to date and attend training courses as required.### ### **Continuous Improvement*** Review work methods and plant utilisation to ensure optimal use of equipment, materials, and processes.* Perform any other relevant duties as requested by Management.At Heidelberg Materials, we don’t just offer jobs—we build careers.
