A regional healthcare provider seeks a dedicated technician for medical equipment maintenance. The role involves servicing and repairing devices, following maintenance schedules, and ensuring ISO accreditation. Ideal candidates are experienced in technical support, hold a valid driver's license, and are committed to safeguarding standards. To assist the EBME Manager and wider EBME team in the repair and maintenance of the Trust's medical devices. Develop and enhance the delivery of a high quality, accredited service to all users. To service, repair and review medical equipment in the Trust including planning of planned preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer2s guidelines and instructions. To work in accordance with the department's BS EN ISO 9001:2015 QA standard.

Job responsibilities: Service and repair of medical equipment; Following PPM schedules for medical equipment and following manufacturers recommendations and instructions; Acceptance and performance testing of medical devices; Maintain/obtain the running of the department2s ISO accreditation including carrying out an audit schedule; Provide technical support in the community, be a car owner and be prepared to insure and use car for Trust purposes; Contribute towards developing EBME policies and services to the Trust, to both the external health agenda, and internal initiatives; To assist in ensuring Stockport Community medical equipment is maintained to current manufacturers and CQC recommendations.
