We are looking for someone to join the school administrative team at The John Frost School who will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher, wellbeing team and ALN department as a school support officer. The administrative team consists of 11 staff who work across the school carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks to enable the school to operate effectively. This post deals with high level administration around mid‑term admissions to school; tracking of some of our most vulnerable students, as well as the process around transition for students coming to us from our primary schools. An aptitude for tracking and maintaining systems is as essential part of this role.
Working in an administrative role within The John Frost School comes under the generic term of ‘support staff’ and if you are appointed, we will expect you to understand that this involves support of students with their wellbeing, learning and pastoral care; and of teaching staff in their main role as educators. You will undertake work for several senior staff and need to be able to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and maintain a cheerful outlook.
